This research aims to determine the feasibility of learning media and tools, the application of Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) media on learning activities, learning outcomes and student responses. This causes the students who sit in the back do not fully understand the material being taught. Learning activities are still teacher centered and rarely use media except the automatic level that is placed in front of the class. Especially on the subjects of Soil Measures on basic competencies Applying Types of Surveying and Mapping Equipment. The background of this research is not yet perfect implementation of Curriculum 2013 (K13) in SMKN 3 Surabaya. Kata Kunci: One-shot case Study, Media Animasi, Peralatan Survey dan Pemetaan. (1).Kelayakan perangkat prosentase rata-rata yang didapatkan pada tiap perangkat adalah > 80% dengan kategori Layak(L), dan media mendapat prosentase sebesar 87,78% dengan kategori Sangat Layak(SL), (2).Penerapan media animasi GIF dalam pembelajaran mendapatkan prosentase sebesar 90.1% dengan kategori Sangat Baik(SB), (3).Hasil belajar siswa yang berjumlah 34 siswa telah mencapai target ketuntasan belajar sebesar 97.05%, serta didapatkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 3.19 diatas nilai KKM dari Permendikbud Nomor 104(2014:6) sebesar 2.67, (4).Respon siswa terhadap penerapan media animasi GIF mendapat presentase rata-rata sebesar 84% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Penelitian penerapan media Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) didapatkan empat hasil. Teknik analisis data berupa analisis kelayakan perangkat dan media pembelajaran, analisis pengamatan penerapan media di kelas, hasil belajar, dan respon siswa. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pre-experimental one-shot case study, dilaksanakan di SMKN 3 Surabaya semester genap tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan perangkat dan media pembelajaran, penerapan media Graphics Interchange Format(GIF) pada pembelajaran, hasil belajar dan respon siswa. Hal ini menyebabkan siswa yang duduk di belakang tidak memahami secara penuh tentang materi yang diajarkan.
